Naga Vamsi eyes Rs 30 crore profit from Vishwanath and Sons

Producer Naga Vamsi is set to earn close to Rs 30 crore in profit from the film Vishwanath and Sons even before its release, according to telugu360.com. The producer had secured a large sum from Netflix for digital rights after the success of his earlier film Lucky Bhaskar on the platform. He also sold Tamil theatrical rights at a handsome price following the hit Tamil film Karuppu.

In its first weekend in North America, the film grossed $1.59 million, reports m9.news. The Telugu version alone earned $1 million, while the Tamil version collected $589,000. Distributed by Shloka Entertainments, the film's North America breakeven is estimated at $1.8 to $1.9 million. The film, directed by Venky Atluri and starring Suriya and Radhika Mamita Baiju, will face competition from new releases Irumudi and Toxic in the coming weeks.
