RMS CET 2026 correction window opens at nta.ac.in
The Story in Brief
The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the correction window for the Rashtriya Military School Common Entrance Test (RMS CET) 2026 on 27 October 2026. Candidates can modify their application forms on the official website nta.ac.in. The window is open on 27 and 28 October 2026.
Candidates may change their name, father's name, mother's name, Class V and VIII equivalent details, date of birth, gender, category, signature, thumb, domicile certificate, birth certificate, and Aadhaar details. However, the mobile number, email address, permanent and present addresses, emergency contact details, and photograph cannot be changed.
The RMS CET 2026 written examination will be held on 13 December 2026. It will be an OMR-based test for Classes VI and IX, with a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The two-day correction window offers a narrow chance for applicants to fix errors before the December exam. The NTA has barred changes to photographs and contact details, meaning any mistake in those fields could disqualify a candidate or block communication. Candidates who missed the chance to correct key identifiers such as date of birth or category face no further opportunity. The exam on 13 December 2026 will proceed with the corrected data.
