SafePal data breach exposes 40,000 customers’ order info

Cryptocurrency wallet provider SafePal has disclosed a data breach that compromised the order information of nearly 40,000 customers. The company said an authorization flaw in its order tracking system allowed unauthorised access to personal details such as names, addresses and purchase data for orders placed between March 2, 2025, and April 11, 2026.

SafePal stated that the breach did not expose seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords, bank or card details, or government IDs. However, affected users could face targeted phishing and impersonation attempts. The firm said it has fixed the issue, added security measures, and taken down over 30 fraudulent websites and phishing links linked to the breach.
