Sai Durgha Tej’s Sambarala Yeti Gattu locks Sankranthi 2027 release

Sai Durgha Tej's pan-India film *Sambarala Yeti Gattu* (SYG) will release on January 12, 2027, for the Sankranthi festival. The makers announced the date after completing the entire shoot, the film is now in post-production. Directed by debutant Rohith KP and produced by Primeshow Entertainment, the action drama stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar, and a top Bollywood actor in a crucial role.

Sankranthi 2027 is becoming one of the most crowded festival seasons in Telugu cinema. Cinema Express reports that Chiranjeevi's film with director Bobby Kolli and Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi's film are also aiming for a Sankranthi release. M9.news adds that five films are already in the race, including Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram's film with Anil Ravipudi, Sree Vishnu's film with Ram Abbaraju, Sharwanand's *George Krish*, and Prasanth Varma's *Mahakaali*. Chiranjeevi's *Mega 158* and Balakrishna's *NBK111* could join, though release dates remain tentative until films are ready.
