Salesforce, Adamas University set up Centre of Excellence in West Bengal

Adamas University has partnered with Salesforce to establish West Bengal's first Salesforce Academia Centre of Excellence. The centre will give students and faculty hands-on access to technologies including Agentforce, Tableau, and Data 360. The curriculum will integrate these tools so students gain practical experience building AI-powered applications, developing enterprise workflows, and solving real-world business problems.

Arundhati Bhattacharya, President of Salesforce, said the AI era will be defined by the quality of talent built to harness it responsibly. She said universities have an opportunity to create problem-solvers who apply AI and data to real challenges. Prof. Samit Ray, Chancellor of Adamas University, said the collaboration reflects a commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry.
