Thudakkam Earns Rs 18.98 Crore, Becomes 8th Highest Malayalam Film 2026

Vismaya Mohanlal's debut film Thudakkam earned Rs 1.82 crore on its second Saturday, Independence Day, a 64% jump from Friday's Rs 1.11 crore. The action thriller's nine-day domestic net total stands at Rs 18.98 crore, according to Koimoi.

With this, Jude Anthany Joseph's film has surpassed Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies to become the eighth-highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2026. It is now poised to overtake Balan: The Boy (Rs 19.07 crore) and may next beat Bharathanatyam 2 Mohiniyattam (Rs 25.55 crore). The film has grossed Rs 14.05 crore overseas, taking its worldwide total to Rs 36.45 crore.

Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, Thudakkam stars Vismaya as Meenu, a martial arts expert. Mohanlal appears in a cameo as her teacher. The film holds a strong second weekend and will run uninterrupted before Onam releases take over.
