UP rations dealers get Rs 125 per quintal commission

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday will increase the commission for more than 78,000 ration dealers from Rs 90 to Rs 125 per quintal, reports Aaj Tak. The announcement will be made at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow at 9:30 am, with Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, Food Minister Manoj Kumar Pandey, and Minister of State Satish Chandra Sharma present.

Alongside the commission hike, the CM will launch a single-stage doorstep delivery system with an e-PoS based fair price shop feedback mechanism. This digital system will record dealer experiences and feedback directly through e-PoS machines, aiming to improve the ration distribution system.

After the Lucknow event, Adityanath will travel to Gorakhpur to award winners of the state-level prize money wrestling competition at the Gorakhnath temple premises on the occasion of Nagpanchami. Winners in the categories of Uttar Pradesh Kesari, Uttar Pradesh Kumar, and Uttar Pradesh Veer Abhimanyu will be honoured.
