UPSSSC releases PET 2026 city slip, exam from 25 October
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the advance city information slip for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026. Candidates who successfully registered under advertisement number 16-exam/2026 can download the city slip from the commission’s official website.
The written exam is scheduled to begin from 25 October. The city slip shows the district where a candidate will appear, the exact centre and timing will be on the admit card. UPSSSC advised candidates to check their exam district online.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The city slip release fixes only the exam location, leaving the exact centre and timing for the admit card. Candidates who registered under advertisement number 16-exam/2026 must now shift focus to downloading the admit card when released, or they cannot enter the exam hall. The UPSSSC has not yet announced the admit card date, so uncertainty remains for the 25 October start.
