UPSSSC releases PET city intimation slip for October exams
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the city intimation slip for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026. Candidates registered for the exam can download the slip from the official website upsssc.gov.in by entering their registration number, date of birth, gender and verification code.
The PET is scheduled for October 25, October 30 and November 1, 2026. The city slip tells candidates which city their exam centre is in, allowing them to plan travel and accommodation. It is not the admit card, which will have the centre’s full address.
Indian Opinion Analysis
The release of the city intimation slip gives candidates about two weeks to arrange logistics before the first exam date on October 25. The slip’s key detail is the exam city, not the exact centre address, which only the admit card will provide. This leaves candidates with a partial picture, especially those from remote areas who need to plan accommodation. The UPSSSC has not announced the admit card release date yet.
