Vir Das’ Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos gets Netflix release April 1

Vir Das' directorial debut Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, produced by Aamir Khan, will stream on Netflix from April 1, 2026. The Hindi comedy-spy caper released in theatres in January 2026 and earned Rs 6.21 crore domestically.

The film stars Vir Das as an unlikely hero mistaken for a top agent, with Mona Singh, Mithila Palkar, Imran Khan making his comeback, and Aamir Khan in a cameo. Co-directed by Vir Das and Kavi Shastri, it parodies Bollywood spy tropes with absurd humour.
