Yash breaks silence on ‘Toxic’ song condom ad row

Yash has addressed the online trolling over the song 'Tabaahi' from his upcoming film 'Toxic', jokingly saying he would do a condom ad only for money. Speaking on Rajat Sharma's show 'Aap Ki Adalat', he responded to comparisons between the song's visuals and a condom advertisement with humour, saying he would not do it for free.

The actor defended the song's sensuality, saying he has not even kissed in the film and that there is a line between sensuality and vulgarity. 'What may seem visually appealing later is the impact of cinema,' he said. Separately, Kannada actor Risheekaa Ssingh criticised Yash for a scene where he appears partially nude and questioned the portrayal of women. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, 'Toxic' also stars Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Nayanthara. The film is scheduled for release on August 26.
