AI Prompt Art 2026 exhibition in Mumbai imagines future space and Moon

The AI Prompt Art 2026 Exhibition, organised as part of National Space Week 2026 by the Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai, and the National Centre for Science Communicators (NCSC), is showcasing artworks that envision space and Moon settlements 50 to 100 years from now. The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof Dr Mayank Vahia (Retd) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, along with other experts. The artworks feature futuristic habitats, domed cultivation, monorails, lifts, and multi-storied apartments on the Moon, highlighting India's role in space exploration.

The exhibition brings together science, technology, art, and imagination, using AI to turn ideas into visual creations. NCSC Chief Executive Suhas Naik Satam said AI prompt art allows anyone to transform a concept or dream into an image. Director Umesh Kumar Rustagi noted that AI is expanding human imagination. The exhibition includes works from students, educators, artists, and space enthusiasts, with a special focus on India's Chandrayaan missions and future space travel.
