Android 17 beta adds Quick Settings editor and theming options

Google has released Android 17 QPR2 Beta 3 to eligible Pixel devices, bringing a new Quick Settings layout editor that lets users arrange toggles freely. Users can choose which quick toggles become larger tiles, and move the brightness slider and media player around the menu.

The update adds new theming options including a hue slider for the four main colours and blur effects. Call protection features have also been introduced, with additional confirmation dialogs that appear when dialling call-forwarding numbers to guard against social engineering scams.
