Anurag Kashyap says he doesn’t want to lose Shubhra Shetty

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has said he is happy with Shubhra Shetty and does not want to lose her. In a recent interview, the couple, together for nearly a decade, spoke about marriage, age gap and their bond. Kashyap said that while Shetty does not believe in marriage, being with her matters more than a label. 'I don't want to lose this,' he said.

Shetty recalled an early conversation where she said being in love was on her bucket list. Kashyap became emotional, saying he had never feared dying before meeting her. He called it the sweetest way of looking at their relationship. Kashyap, 53, also admitted he became conscious of their age difference as he grew older. Shetty is in her 30s.

Shetty previously worked as an assistant director at Kashyap's production company, Phantom Films. The couple was first photographed together in 2015 and reportedly confirmed their relationship in 2018. Kashyap was earlier married to editor Aarti Bajaj and later to actor Kalki Koechlin.
