Women leave Revanth Reddy meet over unparliamentary language

Several participants, including women, reportedly left a public meeting addressed by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in Sangareddy after his remarks against former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and former minister T Harish Rao. Telangana Today reported that police blocked exit points as some attendees tried to leave the venue, with women arguing with police who pleaded with them to stay until the meeting ended.

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLAs from combined Medak district condemned the Chief Minister's comments. The Hindu reported that they said except for using filthy language against KCR and Harish Rao, Revanth Reddy did not speak a single useful word. Separately, Harish Rao challenged the Chief Minister to an open debate on farm loan waiver, power supply, and fee reimbursement, alleging that the government had emptied the Singur project which supplies drinking water to three districts.

Harish Rao claimed he inspected logbooks at three substations and found three-phase power to agriculture was not supplied for more than 10-11 hours, contradicting the Chief Minister's claim of 24-hour supply. The Congress government had also denied Rs 15,000 crore under Rythu Bharosa in 2024-25 and 2025-26, while the previous BRS government gave Rs 14,743 crore in 2022-23 alone, he alleged.
