BJP Vice-President Baijayant Panda leads 2km rally in Kendrapara

BJP National Vice-President and Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda led a two-kilometre Tricolour rally in Odisha's Kendrapara district on Saturday, marking Independence Day. OdishaTV reports the procession began at BC Swain Gada in Karilopatna and ended at Basapur, drawing a large crowd of party workers, supporters, and ex-servicemen. Participants carried the national flag and raised patriotic slogans such as 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.

The rally was organised by the BJP in the Patkura Assembly constituency. Panda's presence highlighted the event, which aimed to showcase national pride. Later in the day, the Kendrapara MP attended the closing ceremony of the Derabish Football Cup and felicitated retired soldiers for their service to the nation. The events emphasised patriotism and respect for the armed forces on Independence Day.
