Cristiano Ronaldo will not play for Al Nassr in their Saudi Pro League season opener against Al Fateh FC on Saturday. New manager Ange Postecoglou left the Portuguese striker out of the squad because Ronaldo joined team training only two days before the match, according to hindustantimes.com. Postecoglou wants to avoid rushing his return and prepare him gradually.

Ronaldo's last club appearance was in the final game of last season, where he scored twice against Damac and helped Al Nassr win the league.
