Deepika Padukone in rare airport outing, Ranveer Singh drops her off

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her second child, made a rare public appearance at Mumbai airport on Saturday night. She was accompanied by husband Ranveer Singh, who dropped her off but remained seated in their car, say videos shared by the paparazzi. The Times of India and Telangana Today both note she wore an oversized light blue shirt and baggy jeans, with her baby bump visible. India Today adds she carried a tan shoulder bag and wore dark sunglasses. The actress flew to Bengaluru with daughter Dua.

The appearance comes as Ranveer's upcoming film 'Pralay' has reportedly shifted its shooting schedule from Australia to Mumbai. India Today reports that the change, cited by a source, is partly because Ranveer wants to stay close to Deepika as they prepare for parenthood again. Both India Today and The Times of India say the makers also faced difficulties securing filming permissions at some Australian locations. The Times of India notes 'Pralay' is directed by Jai Mehta, son of Hansal Mehta.

Deepika is next set to appear in Siddharth Anand's 'King' opposite Shah Rukh Khan, with whom she has previously shared screen in films like 'Om Shanti Om', 'Chennai Express', and 'Pathaan', according to Telangana Today. Ranveer was recently seen in 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', India Today reports.
