Ryan Gosling’s ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’ first look unveiled, release set for 2027

The first look at 'Star Wars: Starfighter' has been revealed at Disney's D23 Expo. Ryan Gosling plays pilot Kade Auberon, opposite Flynn Gray. The film is set in the Star Wars universe but follows a new storyline on different planets, not connected to the Skywalker plotline.

The Times of India reports the release date is May 26, 2027, while Cinema Express states May 28, 2027. Shawn Levy directs. Cinema Express adds that Amy Adams, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, and Matt Smith also star. The cast includes Flynn Gray and Amy Adams, according to Cinema Express.

Gosling and Levy are also reuniting for Marvel's 'Ghost Rider', with Gosling as the titular character and Levy directing. The film is set for a 2028 release, Cinema Express reports.
