First look of Ryan Gosling’s ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’ revealed

The first look and teaser clip for ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’ were unveiled at the D23 Expo, showing Ryan Gosling as pilot Kade. The clip, reported by Deadline, reveals Gosling’s character telling Flynn Gray’s character not to touch a decommissioned G17 starship in an old garage. The film is set in the Star Wars universe but on new planets, and will not follow the Skywalker plotline.

Gosling plays Kade, an ambitious pilot. The first photo from the set shows the characters on a sea-filled planet. Directed by Shawn Levy (‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, ‘Free Guy’), ‘Star Wars: Starfighter’ is scheduled for release on May 26, 2027, the same date the original ‘Star Wars’ film opened nearly 50 years ago. The film follows ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’.
