Free medical camp in Kurnool draws 127 people

Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath Gupta has urged residents to use the free mega medical camp held at Gauri Gopal Hospital in Kurnool. The camp takes place on the 16th of every month to mark the birthday of his father, former Rajya Sabha member T.G. Venkatesh.

The camp on Sunday saw 127 people undergo check-ups, with services worth nearly Rs 6,000 provided free of cost. Tests included blood tests, ECG, 2D Echo, chest X-ray, and consultations with specialists. Screenings found six people with heart issues and nine with eye problems.

The Minister said the programme aims to detect health issues early and ensure timely treatment.
