500 screened at free orthopaedic, diabetic camp in Vellore

A free orthopaedic and diabetic foot care camp was held at Sathuvachari near the Collectorate in Vellore on Saturday, part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations. Organised by MMM Ortho Hospital, the camp screened more than 500 persons of all age groups for knee pain, back pain, neck pain, arthritis, heel pain, and joint stiffness.

Attendees received free bone mineral densitometry check-ups and monofilament tests. The camp aimed to raise awareness about early diagnosis and timely treatment, according to a press release from the hospital.
