GoFundMe for Lindsay Clancy’s parents raises $474,000 amid trial

A new GoFundMe fundraiser for Lindsay Clancy's parents, Mike and Paula Musgrove, has raised $474,095 of its $2 million goal. Organiser Brandee Mulligan created the fundraiser after an overwhelming number of people wanted a legitimate way to support them. The funds are strictly for the Musgroves' personal needs, including living and travel expenses, and not for any legal fees related to their daughter's trial.

A separate GoFundMe for Lindsay's ex-husband, Patrick Clancy, was set up in January 2023. That fundraiser explicitly includes legal help, medical bills, and funeral services. Patrick Clancy has been unable to work since the tragedy.

Lindsay Clancy is on trial in Massachusetts for the deaths of her three children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, who were found strangled at the family's Duxbury home in January 2023. She has pleaded not guilty, with her attorneys arguing postpartum psychosis, while prosecutors say she planned the killings while her husband was out.
