Google Pixel 11 series goes on pre-order, prices drop for older models

Google has launched the Pixel 11 series, including the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All models come with 256GB storage as standard, but GSM Arena reports that the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL start with 12GB of RAM, down from 16GB in the previous generation, requiring customers to opt for 512GB or 1TB models to get 16GB. The Pixel 11 has 12GB of RAM, while the foldable has 16GB. Pre-orders are open, with availability from August 20. Amazon is offering trade-in bonuses including an extra Rs 9,000 off for old Pixels on the Pro XL and Fold models.

The Tensor G6 chip powers all models, promising improved battery efficiency. Business Today highlights deeper Gemini AI integration and new camera features like the HiLight RGB LED on Pro models, which serves as a notification light and AI tool. The Pixel 11 Pro has a 50MP main sensor and a new 48MP telephoto with a 5x optical zoom. The foldable is slimmer and lighter at 239g, but has a smaller 4,806mAh battery. The Pixel 11a is expected in a few months, while the Pixel 10a is available with a Rs 18,000 discount.
