Govinda slams Sunita Ahuja for abusive language, harming projects

Actor Govinda has accused his wife Sunita Ahuja of using abusive language in public, saying she has brought disrespect to the name of mothers and sisters. In a video shared by a paparazzo, Govinda warned her that youngsters might get influenced by her behaviour and urged her to stop. "What if people start abusing you like that? We will be embarrassed," he said.

The war of words began after Sunita questioned Govinda's appearance with younger actor Komal Rani Swarnkar, calling him a "sugar daddy" and saying he was roaming with a girl his daughter's age. Govinda responded by criticising Sunita for sabotaging his upcoming film projects and using him for her own benefit through cooking shows and the reality show Lock Upp. He said she was humiliating him and damaging his reputation.

Govinda defended working with younger female actors, saying many actors across the industry have done so and it helps them look young. Sunita had earlier mocked his style and asked him to maintain standards. The couple's public feud continues with no signs of resolution.
