Govinda slams wife Sunita over abusive remarks, ‘real face’ warning

Actor Govinda has accused his wife, Sunita Ahuja, of using abusive language and jeopardising his career, escalating their public feud. In a video shared by a paparazzo, Govinda said Sunita was 'making the name of mothers and sisters very cheap' by repeatedly abusing. Hindustan Times reports he warned her that youngsters would follow her behaviour and said 'everyone will see your real face'.

The dispute began after Govinda was seen promoting his upcoming film Roopa with actress Komal Rani Swarnkar. Sunita called him 'sugar daddy' and said he should be 'ashamed' for working with someone his daughter's age. Govinda defended himself, saying actors across the industry work with younger co-stars. Deccan Herald adds that the couple have missed no chance to humiliate each other since the controversy started.

Govinda also alleged that Sunita is sabotaging his projects and trying to damage his reputation for her own benefit. He urged her not to humiliate people from poor families. The actor questioned her behaviour, saying 'this is not expected from you'.
