India’s space technology milestones and applications explained

Space technology encompasses the design and operation of satellites, launch vehicles, and ground systems for telecommunications, navigation, weather monitoring, and national security. India's Indian Space Research Organisation has built a reputation for reliable and low-cost indigenous systems, including the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle and the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle, as well as cryogenic engines such as the C25 and CE20.
