Kochhar & Co appoints Saswat Mohanty as partner in capital markets

Kochhar & Co has appointed Saswat Mohanty as a partner in its Capital Markets and Securities Law Practice, livelaw.in reports. Mohanty advises issuers, intermediaries and other market participants on equity capital markets, securities law and listed company advisory. He has experience from private practice and an in-house role at the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), spanning transactional, regulatory and corporate advisory matters.

The firm stated the appointment will strengthen its capital markets practice and enhance its corporate capabilities in Mumbai. It expects the move to expand the firm's ability to advise clients across the full lifecycle of capital markets transactions.
