Lokesh Kanagaraj’s DC crosses Rs 84 crore worldwide

Arun Matheswaran's action drama DC, starring director Lokesh Kanagaraj in his acting debut, has crossed Rs 84 crore worldwide on day 10, according to Sacnilk. The film earned Rs 4.50 crore net in India on day 10, taking its India net to Rs 54.76 crore, Tracktollywood reports. The overseas contribution on day 10 was Rs 1 crore, pushing the overseas gross to Rs 21.25 crore, as per Times of India.

Tracktollywood reported earlier that DC had crossed Rs 75 crore worldwide after nine days, with strong word-of-mouth and repeat audience driving single-screen occupancy. The film has maintained momentum despite competition from Independence Day releases. Anirudh Ravichander's music score and performances by Kanagaraj and Wamiqa Gabbi have drawn praise.

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu called the film 'original and outstanding' on X on August 16. DC remains on track to enter the Rs 100 crore club, Tracktollywood notes, with its day 10 Tamil version occupancy at 60.51 percent.
