भारतीय थर्मल वीज प्रकल्पांनी तीन वर्षांत मिश्रणासाठी कोळशाची आयात 71.5% कमी केली आहे. 2023-24 मधील 2.39 कोटी टनांवरून 2025-26 मध्ये 68 लाख टनांपर्यंत घसरण झाली. केंद्रीय कोळसा राज्यमंत्री सतीश चंद्र दुबे यांनी सोमवारी राज्यसभेत ही माहिती दिली. चालू आर्थिक वर्षात केवळ 17 लाख टन आयात झाली आहे.
