Rennie expects Jordan and Roigard fit for Springboks Test

New Zealand head coach Dave Rennie is confident wing Will Jordan and scrum-half Cam Roigard will be available for the first Test against South Africa in Johannesburg next Saturday. Neither All Black has played in the tour so far due to injuries, but both came through a training session, Rennie said in Pretoria on Saturday. He spoke after New Zealand beat the Bulls 50-19, completing a hat-trick of wins over South African franchises.

Rennie expressed less confidence about Damian McKenzie, who can play full-back or fly-half, but expects all three to be available. Captain Ardie Savea has been resting and is expected to lead the side at Ellis Park. Utility back Richie Mo'unga, a late replacement for injured centre Billy Proctor, will not play in the first Test but will get game time against the Lions. Rennie said the Bulls played well but warned the Springboks would be a much tougher challenge.
