Sarthak Chavan wins Indian National Racing Challenge 2W opener

Sarthak Chavan, 19, from Pune, won the Super Sport 301-400cc race with a last-lap move at the MRF Indian National Racing Challenge 2W at the Madras International Circuit. He led a Petronas TVS Racing 1-2 finish ahead of teammate Chiranth Vishwanath.

Chennai's Ann Jennifer dominated the Super Stock 165cc Intermediate race. Alwin Xavier capitalised on teammate Kabilesh Rajini Krishnan's retirement to win the Super Stock 301-400cc Open class. Bengaluru's Savion Sabu won the Pro-Stock 200cc race. In the Petronas TVS Racing One-Make Championship, Bengaluru's Poojita Anil Kumar claimed her maiden National win in the Women's category after recovering from a poor start.
