Tips Films, Tips Music join Emraan Hashmi’s horror film ‘Rooh’
The Story in Brief
Tips Films and Tips Music have come on board as co-producers for ‘Rooh’, a musical horror film starring Emraan Hashmi, set for a 2027 theatrical release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Directed Mayank Sharma and writer Vishal Kapoor have crafted a story that blends horror, romance and music. Producers Kumar Taurani, Vikram Khakhar and Sunny Khanna said the project reunites Taurani with Hashmi 23 years after the actor’s debut film ‘Footpath’ (2003).
Hashmi described the collaboration as serendipitous and said music would capture the film’s romantic and haunting soul. Presented by Tips Films and produced by Vicked Films Productions, ‘Rooh’ is co-produced by Vikas Sahni, with music on the Tips Music label. The film marks Hashmi’s return to the horror genre after five years.
Indian Opinion Analysis
Both outlets report identically on Emraan Hashmi’s upcoming horror film ‘Rooh’, reproducing the same quotes from Kumar Taurani, Vikram Khakhar, Sunny Khanna and Hashmi himself. The coverage is uniform straight news based on a joint press statement. Neither source adds independent reporting, critical framing or commentary. The story centres on the partnership between Tips Films and Vicked Films Productions, the film’s horror-romance-music blend, and its 2027 release in three languages. Without divergent angles, the balanced reading is the announcement itself: a production tie-up that reunites Taurani with Hashmi two decades after ‘Footpath’.
