Vivo S2 specifications leak ahead of India launch as Samsung battery rumours surface

GSMArena's weekly roundup reported that the vivo S2's specifications leaked ahead of an expected 6 August India launch, listing a 6.83 inch curved AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 chipset, a 50MP main camera and a 7,050mAh battery with 44W charging. The 8GB and 128GB variant was tipped to cost between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000, well below its listed box price of Rs 66,999. The same roundup covered a China only vivo X300E, a reported slip in the OnePlus 16's launch timing from September to October, and a fresh leak suggesting Samsung will fit larger 5,200mAh and 5,700mAh batteries into the Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra using silicon carbon technology. Google's Pixel 11 series, expected on 12 August with a lower entry price after dropping the 128GB tier, was also previewed. Most of the figures in the roundup came from leaks and listings, not official confirmation.
