Yash defends intimate scenes in Toxic, addresses Rashmika Mandanna remark

Pan-India star Yash, during his appearance on India TV's Aap Ki Adalat with Rajat Sharma, defended intimate scenes and sexual imagery in his upcoming film 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups', set for an August 26 release. India TV reports that the actor said those who are uncomfortable should not watch the A-rated film. Yash stated that director Geetu Mohandas believes women have the right to air their fantasies, and the film is not meant for children.

Times Now adds that Yash also addressed actor Rashmika Mandanna's 2017 remark calling him a 'show-off'. Yash said he did not know the context but that it was someone's opinion and would not change who he is. He warned that anyone who abuses another actor over such comments cannot be his fan. Rashmika had later apologised, saying her words were taken out of context.

Yash's appearance also covered comments by Aamir Khan and Ranveer Singh, and questions about release-date clashes. 'Toxic', featuring Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria, releases in theatres on August 26.
