Ashwin Mushran breaks silence on Goa accident controversy

Actor Ashwin Mushran has responded to allegations that he hit a biker in Goa while driving on the wrong side of the road. In an Instagram video posted on Friday, he did not directly address the incident but warned those spreading what he called unverified information. His caption read: 'If you spew venom or post unverified information… Expect a response…. One by one.'

Local leader Amol Kanekar had alleged that Mushran was involved in a collision with a biker and that a piece of the biker's bone was lodged in the car's tyre fender. He also claimed Mushran and his wife argued with locals instead of apologising. However, police clarified that Mushran was not driving. A case has been registered against his driver, Vasant Puttappa Laman, 32, who was behind the wheel when the car hit a scooter in Quepem village, Kushawati district. Two people were injured.
