EPFO to hold Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 camps from September 28

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will launch the second edition of its Nidhi Aapke Nikat awareness campaign from next week, with camps scheduled for September 28 across district-level locations in India. The EPFO announced the initiative on X, urging members to visit service kiosks at the camps to interact with officials, learn about schemes and benefits, and get on-the-spot grievance redressal.

Nidhi Aapke Nikat is the retirement body's last-mile monthly outreach programme, typically held on the 27th of every month. Since that date falls on a holiday this month, the camp will move to September 28. Services include submission of Digital Life Certificates, pensioner assistance, and help desks for employees, employers, and pensioners.

The EPFO has shared a document listing camp sites for subscribers to find the nearest location. The initiative is part of a broader government push to reconnect citizens with unclaimed financial assets, including inoperative EPF accounts, under the 'Your Money, Your Right' campaign coordinated by the finance ministry and regulators such as RBI, SEBI, and IRDAI.
