KMCH Sempora celebrates 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour

Kashmir Medical College and Hospital (KMCH), Sempora, celebrated the 80th Independence Day on Saturday with faculty, doctors, staff and students. Managing Director Tausif Ahmad hoisted the Tricolour and took the salute alongside Executive Director Insha Qazi, Principal and Dean Prof. Nazir Ahmad Khan, Medical Superintendent Dr Syed Mubashir and other department heads.

In his address, Tausif Ahmad extended Independence Day greetings and paid tributes to freedom fighters, calling for responsible citizenship and dedicated service. He stressed that medical education and healthcare are driving forces of a progressive society. Principal Prof. Nazir Ahmad Khan recalled the sacrifices of national heroes and urged youth to uphold values of patriotism and discipline. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets.
