Mother breaks down at Bhubaneswar airport after IndiGo cancels flight

A woman whose children needed urgent medical treatment broke down at Bhubaneswar Airport after an IndiGo flight was cancelled due to a technical issue. Business Today reports she confronted airport and airline staff, asking how she could reach her destination without delay. The airport director said the flight was scheduled for around 2 p.m. and was cancelled over a technical fault.

The woman was later able to travel on the next scheduled flight at around 5 p.m. The airport director also said an FIR was filed against her over her behaviour on the airport premises. For the passenger, every hour of delay added stress because her children required treatment.

The incident highlights the human impact of sudden flight cancellations, especially when medical emergencies are involved.
