Ukraine launches biggest drone attack on Moscow, 6 killed

Ukraine launched hundreds of drones across Russia on Sunday in one of its largest aerial attacks of the war, killing at least six people. Russia's Defence Ministry said it destroyed 822 drones overnight. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 600 drones were aimed at the capital region, with 201 intercepted. An 83-year-old man was killed when a drone hit his home in the Moscow region, Governor Andrey Vorobyov said.

A major warehouse belonging to Russian online retailer Wildberries in Podolsk caught fire. ABP Live and Times Now report that Ukraine has been targeting Wildberries facilities for weeks, accusing the company of handling military goods. Five people were killed in the Rostov region. A Spanish F-18 fighter jet on NATO patrol shot down a drone that entered Romanian airspace.

Russia also struck Ukraine, killing seven people. A missile hit Kryvyi Rih, killing two and wounding 14, President Zelenskyy said. Fires engulfed Kyiv's landmark book market. Russia said it targeted a metallurgical plant and military-industrial sites. The figures could not be independently verified.
