Yash says Rashmika Mandanna’s old show-off remark not personal

Yash has responded to Rashmika Mandanna's 2017 remark calling him 'Mr. Show-off' during an interview. Speaking on Aap Ki Adalat while promoting his film Toxic, Yash said he did not take the comment personally. He noted that Rashmika was new to the industry at the time and the remark may have been a casual choice from options given by the show's anchors.

Yash stressed that someone else's opinion does not define his personality. 'Anybody can give an opinion about you. But somebody's opinion will not be my personality,' he said, as reported by greatandhra.com. He also sent a message to his fans, saying those who disrespect other actors are not his fans.

The comment had previously led to Rashmika being trolled online, and she later issued an apology. Yash is currently promoting Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, which has received an A certificate. The film also stars Kiara Advani and Nayanthara.
