EPFO ની EDLI યોજના હેઠળ નોકરી દરમિયાન કોઈ સભ્યના મૃત્યુ પર પરિવારને રૂ. 7 લાખ સુધીનો વીમો મળે છે. સભ્યોને કોઈ વધારાના ખર્ચ વિના આ યોજનામાં આપોઆપ સામેલ કરવામાં આવે છે. દાવો કરવા માટે પ્રાદેશિક EPFO કચેરીમાં ફોર્મ 5 IF સબમિટ કરવું પડશે. દાવાનો નિકાલ 30 દિવસમાં થવો જોઈએ, અન્યથા 12% વ્યાજ ચૂકવવું પડશે.
