કેરળના ઇડુક્કી જળાશયનું પાણીનું સ્તર એક દિવસમાં છ ફૂટથી વધુ વધી ગયું છે. કેચમેન્ટ વિસ્તારોમાં પડેલા ભારે વરસાદને કારણે શનિવારે બપોરે 1 વાગ્યે પાણીનું સ્તર 2336.04 ફૂટ હતું, જે શુક્રવારે સવારે 2330.90 ફૂટ હતું. કેચમેન્ટમાં 154.4 મિમી વરસાદ નોંધાયો હોવાનું કેરળ સ્ટેટ ઇલેક્ટ્રિસિટી બોર્ડના અધિકારીએ જણાવ્યું.
