Himanshi Khurana felt she was betraying God in Asim Riaz relationship

Himanshi Khurana has revealed that she felt she was betraying her God while in a relationship with Asim Riaz. The actress spoke about her religious conflict on Paras Chhabra's podcast. She and Riaz met on Bigg Boss 13 and dated for years before splitting in December 2023 due to religious differences.

Khurana said her partner spoke positively about his religion and wanted her to accept it, but she could not. She stressed that he never mistreated her. The conflict led her to question her identity, including whether she would be cremated or buried if she converted. She considered going on the Char Dham Yatra before saying goodbye to her faith.

Khurana said the thought of bowing to another God made her instinctively say 'Waheguru'. She realised her faith was deeply ingrained. The relationship ended because she could not reconcile her beliefs. She continues to focus on her acting career in the Punjabi film industry.
