उत्तराखंड मंत्रिमंडळाने शुक्रवारी हल्द्वानीतील लामाचौर येथील 38 हेक्टर वन जमीन नवीन उच्च न्यायालय संकुलासाठी हस्तांतरित करण्यास मंजुरी दिली. सध्या नैनिताल येथील उच्च न्यायालय 1900 च्या वारसा इमारतीत आहे, ज्याचे नूतनीकरण शक्य नाही. प्रलंबित खटले 2000 मध्ये 356 वरून जुलै 2026 पर्यंत 61,859 पर्यंत वाढले आहेत.
