Samantha Ruth Prabhu to host Celebrity MasterChef Tamil

Samantha Ruth Prabhu will host the Tamil edition of the popular cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef Tamil. The series, produced by Banijay Asia, is set to premiere on Sony VIZHA and stream on Sony LIV, with additional short-form content for digital platforms.

The actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Raj Nidimoru, said the format appealed to her because food brings people together and reveals a side of celebrities that cameras do not usually capture. She teased that viewers will see Tamil film industry personalities take risks, make mistakes, and compete with unexpected passion. The show adapts the global MasterChef format with local Kollywood flavours.

Samantha had earlier announced she would take maternity leave after completing her current commitments. Celebrity MasterChef Tamil is expected to premiere shortly.
