Vishwanath and Sons crosses Rs 74 crore worldwide in two days

Suriya and Mamitha Baiju's Vishwanath and Sons has collected Rs 74 crore gross worldwide after two days, according to Sacnilk. The film earned Rs 22.25 crore net in India on day two, a 45% jump from its opening day. The Tamil version contributed Rs 13.75 crore and the Telugu version Rs 8.50 crore, with strong occupancy across shows.

In North America, the film crossed $1 million by Saturday evening, with the Telugu version the major driver, per Shloka Entertainments. Its North America breakeven is set at $1.9 million. Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan collected Rs 86 lakh net in India on day 24, taking its total India net to Rs 196.15 crore and worldwide gross to Rs 320.84 crore.
