বুধবার রাতে কুয়ালালামপুর থেকে কোচ্চি আসা বাটিক এয়ার ফ্লাইट OD231 এ যাত্রী জমশীর আথানিক্কল জরুরি নির্গম জোর করে খোলার চেষ্টা করেন। এফআইআর অনুযায়ী, তিনি রাত 9.30 থেকে 11.05 পর্যন্ত নির্গমের ভিতরের জানালার প্যানেল ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করেন এবং যাত্রী ও ক্রুকে ধমকি দেন। তাকে কোচ্চিতে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়।
