४ ऑगस्ट रोजी फुकेतहून दिल्लीला जाणाऱ्या एअर इंडियाच्या विमानाला तीव्र अशांततेचा सामना करावा लागला. विमान ३०० फूट खाली कोसळल्याने अनेक प्रवासी जखमी झाले. प्रवासी श्रीकांत झा यांनी पायलट दारू पिऊन होता असा आरोप केला. विमान अपघात तपास ब्युरो (AAIB) याने ही गंभीर घटना म्हणून वर्गीकृत करून तपास सुरू केला आहे.
