सोमवारी सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने कर्नाटकला कावेरी जल व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरणाच्या निर्देशानुसार तामिळनाडूला कावेरीचे पाणी सोडण्यास सांगितले. तामिळनाडूने म्हटले की त्यांना पुरेसे पाणी मिळत नाही. कर्नाटकने म्हटले की ते आवश्यकतेपेक्षा जास्त पाणी सोडत आहे. पुढील सुनावणी २४ ऑगस्ट रोजी.
