ದೆಹಲಿ ಮುನ್ಸಿಪಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಷನ್ ಮಾಡೆಲ್ ಟೌನ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೈನಿ ಸರೋವರವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ರೂ.9.7 ಕೋಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ AMRUT ಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೊರೊನೇಷನ್ ಪಿಲ್ಲರ್ ಕೊಳಚೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣಾ ಘಟಕದಿಂದ 4 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ಪೈಪ್ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ 6.5 ಎಕರೆ ಸರೋವರಕ್ಕೆ ತುಂಬಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಬೋರ್ವೆಲ್ ಪೂರೈಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
